Big Statues LLC

I currently work at Big Statues as the Lead Digital Sculptor. The following renders are of digital sculptures I created for clients, which will see their final outcome in the physical space. This includes their fabrication using 3D printing/CNC milling and eventual casting into bronze.

Trauma Quest VR Simulation

During my time at the Eccles Health Sciences Library VR Lab, I worked as a 3D modeler to help create a VR simulation of a trauma bay that medical students could experience for educational purposes. I modeled and textured the doctors, patient, and most of the hospital equipment in the simulation.

Harry Potter AR Potrait Library Display

While as 3D modeler at the Eccles Health Sciences Library VR Lab, I also created an AR experience for a Harry Potter Library display. In the display, pictures of Ambroise Pare and Nicholas Flamel are present and when the viewer passes their phone over the etchings, through AR, the pictures "come alive", like in the Harry Potter universe. I sculpted, animated, and textured the models then integrated the etchings as image targets for the augmented reality to take effect. The following videos show the animation of what took place in the experience.

Ophthalmology VR Tour of the Eye and Brain

The last project I worked on as 3D modeler at the Eccles Health Sciences Library VR Lab was the Ophthalmology VR Tour of the Eye. In it, students would be able to see all of the components of brain and eye anatomy, and even observe a retinal scan from inside the retina. I modeled and textured the brain components and also animated the eye movements associated with various diseases. The following are video walkthroughs of inside the VR experience.
